Humble beginnings

Salty Honey Founder and Head Candle Tester Dana is no stranger to what we call ‘The Skincare Struggle’. You know the one.
Many a time, Dana would try a new cream, soak or scrub and realise it wasn’t working or *gasp* doing her skin more harm than good. Scented candles that were supposed to be relaxing would give her a very un-relaxing headache. Countless bottles, tubes, tubs and bars would go unused (and totally ruin the feng shui of her bathroom vanity).
As a mama to her own little honeys, Dana also worried about the kind of products and nasty ingredients she was exposing her family to. So what do you do when your skincare arsenal isn’t meeting your skincare needs? You create a new one.
Salty Honey was born from Dana’s desire to find health-conscious alternatives to common beauty and skincare products without compromising on quality or results. Because if you want something done right…

Whoever said you can’t have your cake and eat it too clearly never met us. We might not sell cakes (sorry!) but we know something about delivering a quality product that ticks all the boxes.
